Hi, I'm Ruth.

I'm a wife, a mom to one son, and someone learning to follow God one step at a time.

Sixteen years ago, I left my corporate career to become a full-time mother. Through the years, my husband and I have also been involved in ministry, serving alongside his family who have long been in pastoral work.

Six years ago, I sensed the Lord calling me into entrepreneurship, even though I had no experience in selling and struggled with many limiting beliefs about money and provision.

Along the way, God began teaching me something deeper:

when He calls us, money is not the true source of provision — it is often one of the ways He reveals and shapes our hearts.

Three years ago, our family also said yes to joining a prayer community and serving in short-term missions in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

This year will be our third mission trip, and this devotional is part of our journey of faith and obedience.

The reflections in these pages come from what God has been teaching me through motherhood, entrepreneurship, ministry, and missions.

My prayer is that this devotional helps you walk faithfully with God in whatever season you are in.

Why This Devotional Matters

We are living in a time where women have more opportunities and tools than any other generation before us.

And yet the real question is not simply what we can build.

Will we build in alignment with God's heart?

When God calls you to build something —
a family, a business, a ministry, or a life that blesses others —

He often begins by shaping your heart first.

This devotional helps you remain grounded in the truth that:

  • Your confidence is in the God who called you

  • Your identity is not in outcomes or success

  • Your waiting season is part of God's preparation

When you walk with Him faithfully, even in small steps,

nothing in your life is wasted.

A Small Seed in Your Season of Waiting

If you are in a season where you feel God asking you to wait, grow, and prepare

This devotional was written with you in mind.

May it help you stay anchored in the truth that:

God sees your heart.
God honors faithfulness.
And God is preparing you for more than you can see right now.

“For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth
to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.”

— 2 Chronicles 16:9

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

What organization is this outreach connected with?

This outreach is organized by Jesus Revolution NOW (JREV), a missions movement based in the Philippines that mobilizes believers to bring the gospel to the nations. You can learn more about them here: https://jesusrev.com

Are you serving under a local church and accountable to spiritual leaders?

Yes. JREV requires all outreach participants to be actively serving and planted in a local church.

Before we are allowed to join the mission trip, we must submit a Pastor’s Release Form signed by our pastor confirming that we are serving faithfully and have the blessing of our church leadership to participate in the outreach.

What kind of ministry will you be doing in Chiang Mai?

During the outreach, we will be visiting local churches in villages in the mountains around Chiang Mai.

These churches gather people from the surrounding communities, and we will partner with them to:

• share the gospel message
• share our personal testimonies
• pray for the sick
• give gifts to bless the community

We will also be helping with an English Camp, where we teach English to children and young people while building relationships and sharing God’s love with them.

Why are you fundraising through a women’s devotional?

We believe that fundraising for missions is not ultimately about a lack of money.

God is the one who provides for the advancement of the gospel.

Fundraising is simply an invitation for others to participate in what God is doing.

This particular devotional came from prayer with women in mind — especially women who are learning to walk faithfully with God in their season of preparation and waiting.

Our hope is that this devotional will encourage your walk with God while also allowing you to partner with the work of the gospel among the nations.

In the future, we may also create other resources connected to our outreach for different groups and interests, so that more people can participate in this mission journey in meaningful ways.

How does my support help?

Your gift helps support the costs involved in participating in the mission outreach, including:

• travel
• accommodation
• outreach materials and ministry activities

Most importantly, your support becomes a seed sown into the work of sharing the gospel and strengthening local churches.

When you give ₱150 or more, you will also receive the devotional:

21 Days of Faithful Stewardship

Why Thailand?

Thailand has been open to the gospel for many years, yet less than 1% of the population identifies as Christian.

At the same time, after serving in Chiang Mai for the past two years, we’ve seen something very encouraging: there is growing openness and hunger among many people to hear about Jesus.

Local churches are faithfully serving their communities and reaching out to villages that may have never heard the gospel before. It has been a privilege to partner with them, and we believe there is great hope for many people in Thailand to encounter the Lord Jesus Christ in this generation.

Can I support even if I don’t need the devotional?

Of course. Your support is greatly appreciated whether or not you plan to use the devotional.

When you give, you will still receive an email with the free download link for the devotional, which you are welcome to keep, share with a friend, or pass on to someone who might be encouraged by it.

Most of all, your gift becomes a way to partner in the work God is doing through this outreach.
